MESSAGE FOR EVERYBODY:
This is certainly going to be a summer nobody living on Earth will forget in a hurry. The astrological signs are intense for everyone from fourteen eighty-four. The particular planetary alignment in question is called a cardinal square, and while this directly has special effects for those born under Aries, Cancer Libra or Capricorn, everybody feels the vibration somewhere in their horoscopes. ARIES
You’ll definitely be asking yourself a million times, “Who am I?” That’s because you are still in between lives. Just when you think you have a handle on everything and you’re in control and totally ready to begin a brand new life, you find yourself up against all sorts of fascinating, but irritating conflicts–one of which is a conflict of loyalties. Many Arians are thought to be interested only in themselves and themselves alone. You have already proven that you can be sensitive and empathic and aware of the needs of other people. Granted your patience doesn’t last all that long, but this summer you will have a chance to see how far your sensitivity to others can actually go.
Even in the best of circumstances relationships are not easy. People have problems. They get angry. They act selfishly and without regard for the rights or wishes of other people. TAURUS
You really have to start focusing on work now. After the lessons you have already learned about love and romance, and all the notions we are taught to believe in from the movies, you have to dry yourself off, sober up and focus as best you can on work. That may sound boring. The therapeutic value of regularity may seem humdrum and menial sometimes, but it is very often in steady consistency that we find ourselves again. Not only do work relationships take your mind off whatever personal losses or heartbreaks you have sustained, but the relationships you find at work, while demanding and challenging, will turn out to be just the ticket to help you over the hurdle onto a new part of your life.
This requires discipline of mind. People joke about Tauruses sometimes and think that just because it takes you longer to act and make certain decisions, that it is because you lack the brain power. Not true at all. The Taurus mind operates at its own speed, and even if it takes you longer to reach a conclusion before you make a decision and act, once you do, there’s no going back. This summer you need to bear in mind that you are like a giant oak tree in the front yard of a stately mansion. Both the tree and the house have been there for generations. Storms will come, winds will blow, floods will rage in torrents, and even the house itself may be destroyed. But in the end, there you stand, minus a few branches here and there, but stalwart, steady, and still there to provide shade and shelter to those who need it. Exercise and healthy diet may not be glamorous recipes for summer fun, but you will see how powerfully it restores your strength and confidence.Friends you’ve had for years are going out of your life. In some ways, it’s incredibly painful because you’re a forever person. But it’s the natural order of things- to yield to the oncoming wave of change that is opening your consciousness in new ways and showing you that you must go with this force now. It’s leading you somewhere. And it’s not comfortable for you not to know where you’re going. Most Taurses won’t go anywhere without their good dishes. GEMINI
If you have any creative talents at all, and from the looks of your astrological chart, it seems as if you’ve got the glimmers of it, then get on it and immediately. This is the time to develop whatever self-expressive wishes you have been keeping inside. To be fair you’ve been struggling with family issues and domestic responsibilities, tied to family members you could not get away from, or separated from those you needed to be near. So it’s been a difficult and emotional couple of years. That will all be behind you this summer and now you must turn to another side of your nature. For some Geminis it will be love love love, romance romance romance, but if that is the road you take, you should be told it’s a rocky one. Of course when you are young and full of the desire for experience, every romantic sojourn is worth it, no matter how it turns out. In fact that is probably what you are going to start learning about big time this summer—exactly what love is all about.
It’s really the ability to show yourself, allow yourself to be revealed as you really are with all your strengths and weaknesses. Being able to love deeply means being vulnerable, and when you are vulnerable you are bound to make strange choices. Nobody can criticize or guide you along this new path, mainly because there are no mistakes when you are learning to open yourself up. Opening yourself up romantically is of the same nature as allowing your creative talents to be developed. You do have a lot of fears and anxieties about your own abilities, and now is the time to get over your stage fright no matter what it costs. Financially it’s tricky, too, because you still need the support from other people and are not in the position to simply unhook and fly solo. You do have financial anxieties, but they, too, reflect your lack of confidence in your skills and abilities to follow your passion and be successful at doing so.
So do you manipulate your way around other people so they can support your self-indulgence? That’s a pretty cynical way of looking at the fact that you need someone’s money to finance your dreams. At the moment, however, you have to be honest enough to admit that and still desire to prove you have a storeage of talent you haven’t even begun to use. Yet.
Even though it is so over, part of you is still hoping things are going to chance.. Probably part of you is still hoping some miracle will happen,. But the miracle shows itself only when you surrender and let go. And that’s not about controlling anything.

CANCER
If you’re a Cancer born in June you’ve got a lot being thrown at you this summer. IN fact, no matter where you fall under this sign it is definitely a Summer to grow up. There are many fears, worries and insecurities that you are holding in and not showing anyone, mainly because you hang on to your independence fiercely and would not want anyone to think you were weak or needy. So there you are, holding your own wounds closed while you fight the fight for everybody else. People who thought you were weak should watch you in action now. Whether it’s on the home front, in career, or relationships, people are going to be challenging you as you haven’t been put to the test in a long while. It’s actually exciting, and you will never be able to say it’s boring. Not only is SOMETHING happening, Everything seems to be happening at once. It will be like the old western movies where the hero has guns blazing at him from all sides, and somehow, some way, some mysterious way that can only happen in the movies, he gets out of it. This is the heroic part of you– up against political pressure from unreasonable people, difficult domestic situations it always seems you are the one to resolve, and most of all, a complicated personal experience that is not easy to figure out.
Your relationships issues are showing you that you have different allegiances to different people, all reflecting the fact that you have different needs that maybe cannot be met by one person alone. If you have been single, you definitely do not want to be living alone any longer. LEO
Leos are like the non-stick coating on pots and pans. Everything seems to bounce off you. AND it’s not that you are blind or insensitive, but you are ruled by the Sun, and in astrology that means that you can throw off any hardship, disease, worry or care– you just burn it out. You can use all that fiery strength now with so much noise and chaos going on behind you. Besides your ability to withstand assaults that would make other people crumple, there is an area that needs to be improved and developed. The area is in communication. You may think that’s not a problem at all, mainly because you are so good at being cool and smooth and glossing things over that might be unpleasant subjects, but the real deal is in being able to have a few intense, heavy, and real conversations with people you are unwilling to talk with on an intense, heavy, and real basis.
You are entering a new period in your life- one of productivity. It’s not all that glitzy or glamorous, and it will take enormous amounts of grunt work to pull it off successfully. Leos are not lazy, but the kind of work we are talking about involves developing long-term skills, honing a craft, becoming really, really good at something. VIRGO
Ah yes. A candle-lit dinner. Music wafting out onto the terrace as two people dance under the stars. All that is great and wonderful but when Mars and Saturn gather in your second house, either one or the other person is thinking about how much that shimmering evening is going to cost. The reason is simple: This period is about business as well as romance. It’s about the business of romance and it extends to all areas of your life. Personal relationships are most successful when there is balance between head and heart, between emotion and reason. What makes commercial products wallop the whole world is just the fact that the person creating the product or service had sound business practices behind the venture.
How can that extend into a personal life? And more so, should it? Should we just go with our total heads and hearts into a venture whether it’s personal or professional and just hope for the best? Or is it wiser to make agreements up front, put all the cards on the table, state the needs, figure out the costs, determine what is fair, what is equitable, even sign contracts.
Well in business it’s obvious. You should figure out what your product or service is going to cost you up front, determine what return on your investment you would like to see, have a marketing plan and proceed from there.
IN personal life, isn’t that ridiculous? Can you imagine what a turn off that first date would be if all of a sudden one of the parties pulls out a laptop and starts calculating the financial agreement of a relationship that hasn’t even started yet?
Of course that is silly. What is NOT silly, and what you MUST do right this summer, is notice right up front the financial balance of a situation. You have to be aware of the financial dynamics as UNROMANTIC and Macchiavellian as it may seem, mainly because every relationship has a financial side to it in terms of who is dominant and who is more submissive. And the sooner you face it and accept it, the better the relationship will turn out in the end.

LIBRA
You’ve given a lot to people. A lot. And you haven’t asked for a lot in return either. It’s always an inner struggle for Libras. You do not ever want to be thought of as narcissistic or selfish, but you’re usually doing a inner battle between making somebody else happy and being angry about it, or asserting yourself and then feeling guilty about it. As this new period unfolds in your life starting this summer, you are going to see more about yourself in relationships than you ever have before. For one thing you do have to be more selfish now.
You have needs that have to be met and the choices will be put right in front of you. IF you continue to sacrifice your needs for somebody else, you are going to be furious. Then, too, when you just put your foot down and act on your own behalf, and you do finally get your way, it doesn’t make you as happy as you thought it would.
It is the indecision that drives other people mad. If you decide you want or need something, then take it. Go for it. Accept the consequences that OK so maybe you’re not a selfless saint. Maybe you do have to grab for what you want when it’s there for the taking and to hell with being compliant. Open anger is very tricky for Libras. Many members of your sign were raised in environments where open confrontations and diplomatic discussions always became nuclear, so it was easier and a lot safer to shut up and lock it away and do whatever they had to do to keep from getting mauled.
Life is different now. You are a grown up, mature individual who has needs and wants and desires. Yes, they sometimes conflict with the common good. Maybe they conflict with the heavy family responsibilities you know you still have to honor. Even professionally, when you act totally selfishly, things don’t seem to work out just right. So the key from now on especially starting this summer is to be able to express feelings, frustration, dissatisfaction in the most diplomatic and honest way possible.

SCORPIO
There comes a time in everybody’s life when, no matter what you’ve been doing, striving for or chasing, the things of world that meant so much to you don’t mean so much to you any more. It’s odd, too, mainly because you are a constantly yearning, craving, striving human being. Whether young or old, you’ve seen over the past three or four years how pointless and fruitless it is to beat yourself over the head for some stupid career position that is so important all the time you’re beating your head for it, and then, one day, you wake up and realize there is so much more to life than position or family or any of the trappings of power.
And that is when you come to understand how profoundly you need intimacy. That’s a toughie for most Scorpios. As deeply as you may yearn for the pleasure of a deep, total, intimate relationship, such closeness can scare you. When your head is screwed on straight you can handle it beautifully. Gotta watch out for that Scorpio “I gotta-get-outta-here” feeling that comes over you when you start to feel trapped, closed in, the person is there too much, they know too much about you, they’re in your hair every minute. In addition to finding that one person you can be alone with, you need to have an inner calm that comes only from following your own spiritual path, whatever that may be. As involved with the world as you may be, you must already be finding that you can’t stand to be around most people, you need your spiritual life.

SADGE
The Universe has some wild experiences lined up for you over the next five or so years, some of them, believe it or not, unexpectedly romantic, no matter what your situation is right now. Before any of that happens, however you have to get out from under. The bureaucracy has been crushing you. Even if you had to be pushed out, thrown out, unceremoniously dumped or demoted, if you didn’t abdicate the position you were clinging on to for way too long, you would have grown old in a place you no longer belonged in but one with which you were way too identified.
It’s great, too, because now the real adventure begins.

In an ideal world you would be magically whisked away to an island (preferably tropical where there is no mobile phone service). There you would be soothed and rubbed and massaged and comforted. AQUARIUS
You so deserve a reward for the endurance you have shown over the last couple of years, despite all the anxieties about the future that have been plaguing you. PISCES
The opposite sex! Whaddaya gonna do? Can’t live with ‘em. Can’t kill ‘em. Well you can, but then where would you be? Actually you should be commended and given the French Legion d’Honneur for the successful way you have been guiding your ship through the rockiest of relationship waters. Not only have you been able to deal with impossibly controlling members of the opposite sex, but you have also learned how NOT to retreat but to be able to handle confrontation. Learning how to negotiate is the secret to every fulfilling relationship whether it’s romantic or strictly business.
Chances are there is a little of both mixed in when you are close to people and begin to share your lives. Something is shifting significantly this summer, and the intensity will definitely decrease. It’s been difficult for you not to simply run away and disappear, and the fact that you have hung in there shows how maturely you have been able to not have everything your own way and still stand up for what you do need.
